JAEHYUN is effortlessly handsome in lead up to solo debut single "Forever Only"

Mark your calendars as NCT member JAEHYUN is set to release his first solo single ‘Forever Only’ with lyrics penned by JAEHYUN himself.

Described as an attractive R&B song with “a harmonious combo of repetitive guitar riffs and emotional vocals”, it seems to be depicting JAEHYUN’s feelings of loneliness battling with his desire to be present. Paired with the emptiness illustrated in the teaser images, it’s clear we’ll be seeing a more vulnerable side.

This isn’t JAEHYUN’s first rodeo when it comes to lyricism, having previously participated in ‘Dancing In The Rain’ and NCT 127’s debut track ‘Fire Truck’. It’s exciting to see his first solo come to fruition with the addition of being personally involved with writing; on top of having beautiful vocals, we experience a more versatile JAEHYUN.

The single comes in as the latest release from NCT LAB, a series designed to showcase solo projects and unique units, and has it been a treat! With previous singles giving us fresh unit combinations and MARK’s first solo, ‘Child’.

JAEHYUN will also be taking over the MUSIC SPACE on THE NCT SHOW. Released on the 21st August on NCT’s YouTube channel, JAEHYUN will perform ‘Forever Only’ and share special behind-the-scenes production stories.
